Company history
i2c Tourmanagement was founded in 2006 by Carsten Becker, although the origin goes back to 2004. After his initial training in the hotel industry and graduating from Kall College for Touristic Business Management he worked as a freelance chauffeur and individual guide. A colleague asked him for support with a group of American guests. This colleague had been their personal driver when this group had visited Germany some years ago. Now they wanted to return, but were confronted with the difficulty that no tour operator was able to meet their wishes and expectations. Carsten agreed to help and faced an unusual request: the group wanted to travel throughout Germany, but with a flexible itinerary. Pre-selecting hotels and creating an activity program with many options to choose from each day he started to develop a custom tour exactly to the likes of this group. With his in depth knowledge of Germany and his training in the hotel industry he was able to show his very first customers facets of Germany they never had heard of before.
After this tour Carsten was frequently booked to assist a wide variety of clients of all nationalities and professions, gaining more valuable experience working in the front line.
Today i2c Tourmanagement is well known for providing individual concepts for requests that cannot be met with standard solutions. Regardless of being a celebrity, a group or a family – each client has special wishes and unique demands. Carsten and his team meet them equally unique!
